Madelu Design Studio
Madelu Design is an industrial design studio founded in 2021 by designer Marco De Luca.
The studio is based in central Italy, in the heart of the Marche region. A territory renowned for its strong industrial and artisan tradition. This area hosts companies from various sectors, including mechanics, furniture, textiles, and footwear.
These important industrial realities have allowed the designer, from a young age, to be surrounded by entrepreneurs and artisans who over time have made him appreciate both the creative processes and the production processes that give life to an artefact.
Education
He graduated with top honors from the University of Architecture and Design in Ascoli Piceno in July 2020.
During his studies, he explored the newest rapid prototyping technologies such as 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC machining.. This technological expertise is a key advantage for the companies he collaborates with, enabling faster creative processes to develop optimized products for the market.
After completing his studies, he moved to England, where he worked as Industrial Designer for a leading British company.
Method
The studio’s design process always begins with the idea of innovation—whether it involves furniture, product, or interior design—focusing on functionality, attention to detail, and an understanding of production processes.
The goal is to create minimalist designs that endure over time and establish a harmonious connection between people and nature. Nature itself serves as the primary source of inspiration, driving the pursuit of designs that evoke emotion.
The result is a distinctive style characterized by simplicity, essential lines, and refined lightness.

Madelu Design collaborates with both established companies and start-ups in their launch phases, developing innovative products that respect the unique identity of each partner. The studio’s approach aims for elegant designs where function follows form, never the other way around.
